How to Edit the Docking Template (applies for versions 2.657 and lower)

In the Docking module, click the 'Docking' menu bar at the top of the screen (next to File and Help) and then click 'Edit Docking Template'.

This will activate the template as the currently selected docking. You can then make changes to it and once finished, click 'Docking > Edit Docking Template' again to go back to the normal view.

The template can then be used when creating new dockings.
